Amber and Hunter met in January 2016 at Ball State University in good ole Muncie, Indiana. Just 18 and 21 years old and absolutely no idea they had just met their person.

The stars aligned one night at a BSU party where Hunter & Amber met for the first time. At the end of the party Hunter made sure Amber had a safe way back to her dorm by giving her his seat in the car while he rode in the trunk.

After a few months of "will they, won't they", they made it official on May 20th, 2016. Since that day, they have spent the past 9 years growing up and building a life together.

Together, they spent their collegiate years making lifelong friends, supporting each other (Hunter never missed an opening night performance of Amber's), taking trips to Santa Rosa, CA and Gardner, IL to visit family, and making memories to last a lifetime.

Hunter graduated before Amber and they were faced with the daunting task every relationship fears - long distance. From Indiana to Florida, these two successfully kept their love bright with nightly Facetime calls, surprise gifts, and an expiration date of the separation. They were finally reunited in Los Angeles in September 2019 and just a few months later rescued their amazing dog, Milo.

Amber and Hunter have built a very happy little life in LA. They take pride in where they live and fiercely love the people in their lives. Frequently, you can find them hosting their friends in their Sherman Oaks apartment with delicious baked goods courtesy of Amber and Hunter’s new favorite records playing through their little bungalow apartment. In adopting Milo, they found a mutual love of rescuing dogs from Puerto Rico with Souls of Satos. Since the beginning of their partnership with Souls of Satos, Amber and Hunter have helped find homes for over 15 dogs!

Hunter proposed to Amber on April 6th, 2024 at Inglenook Winery in beautiful Napa, California. The surprise didn’t end there for Amber. Thoughtfully, Hunter planned to continue the celebration with both of their families that weekend. The love for these two extends from coast to coast, with family as far East as Rhode Island making the trip to celebrate the newly engaged couple.

Amber and Hunter are so grateful for the people in their lives and their excitement to celebrate their love. They are so looking forward to celebrating with everyone on September 20th, 2025!
