We met on a double date; we didn't know it at the time, but we were with the wrong person. From that night, we followed each other on social media but never thought anything of it. Fast forward a few years, Jacob randomly messaged Amber on Instagram, asking to take her out on a date. Clearly the date went well, as Amber agreed to go on a trip to New York with him and meet some of his family... after only seeing each other for a couple of weeks. We still agree to this day that it was the most fun, memorable trip we have taken. As Jacob entered his freshman year of college, we mutually decided to end the relationship due to timing. Thank goodness neither of us were crazy exes, because as you guessed, we found our way back to each other in the end. Jacob planned a surprise proposal on June 10th, 2023 with friends and family to witness. After nearly four years together, we’re soon going to be taking these life-changing vows to stay close to one another for a lifetime, for better and for worse, no matter what. We can't wait to celebrate with all of our loved ones!
