Brad and I met a little over 5 years ago working at a convenience store in Presque Isle, Maine. Little did I know that he would become my best friend, and soul mate 5 years later. I tell him all the time, back when we worked together I couldn't stand him. I thought he was arrogant and just a very hard person to get along with. I was wrong. He messaged me on Facebook one night and insisted we hang out and get to know each other better. I wasn't interested. A month passed and he messaged me again, so I decided to give it a whirl. Very glad I did. Turns out he is the most caring, honest, trustworthy, respectful, funny (I could go on) man I've met! I couldn't ask for a better man to spend forever with and have a family with. He puts a smile on my face everyday and I thank God for placing him in my life. <3
On February 14,2015 Bradley proposed to me. We went north to Eagle Lake to spend Valentines weekend together. Little did I know he had something big planned. We went to dinner that evening, and after returning to our hotel we were simply relaxing. He got a serious look on his face and said he needed to talk to me. I said sure, go ahead. He sat up and said I am not happy, and I don't want to be your boyfriend any longer, got up and walked away. I didn't know what to say or do, so I sat up and as I did, he turned around with a ring in a box and knelt down on one knee. He said I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore, because I would love to be your husband. I got tears and of course said yes!!
