In lieu of a Registry, we are asking that guests bring a cash or check gift for the card box on the wedding day. We plan on starting our nest egg from these gifts, to go toward our future home.  Any and every amount is welcome with gratitude! We suggest the cash or check so as not to be subject to any fees via this website or other.  We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

Our Wedding

Amber and John first met nearly 10 years ago in a corn maze in Vero Beach with his sister Faith and a group of her friends from church. Little did Faith Tuttle know that she was introducing her brother to his future wife and her friend to her future husband.Years later, John and Amber forged a friendship based around their common passions of music, nature, art, and faith.After a 3 year hiatus, in the wake of 2020, John reached out to Amber on social media in April 2023.What started out as two friends reconnecting soon blossomed into something unexpected, something more, and they haven’t gone a single day without speaking ever since.With the invitation from John to take the leap and a chance on love, Amber packed up her world in Florida and said "Sayonara" to see what they would see.They’ve been building a little world of love and possibility ever since, with the support of John's family around them. Midmorning on Christmas Eve, John, in all of his thoughtful and creative prowess, asked Amber to marry him, and it was the easiest “yes” in the history of “yeses.”Now they are thrilled and expectant as they embark on the next chapter of their story through life together.

Ideas of exploration of Eastport and the surrounding areas: 	◦	Netties bakery (5 min drive), delicious pastries and coffee, spacious outdoor area and indoor cottage 	◦	Hampton Coffee Co and Center Moriches Library (2 min drive) 	◦	Harbes farm (30ish min drive) Apple picking, playing area for young kids, eating fresh roasted corn, and apple cider donuts 	◦	Ocean Fog farm, come see my flower farm! 	◦	Terrell River County Park (5 min drive), lovely wooded hike leading out to peninsula 	◦	Beaches on dune road, Cupsogue (30 min drive), take a soccer ball or volleyball out and see the beach and the bay 	◦	Quogue Wildlife refuge (15-20 min drive), short lovely nature walk with small animal viewing area (mostly owls and hawks), with charming nature center 	◦	NoFo day (North Fork), NoFoRoCo (north fork roasting company- great coffee and cute cool atmosphere), Mattituck (charming town to stop and shop- Love Lane specifically), Greenport (John and my favorite little town with bookstore, Aldo’s coffee, awesome bbq, then go to the end to Orient point, the eastern most tip of Long Island (45 min drive to NoFoRoCo and incrementally further as you go to each stop) 	◦	Wine country- tons of wineries and vineyards, mostly on the North fork but some on the south (considered “Hamptons”)- I’d suggest checking Groupon for good deals as they can get pricey, but some great ones include: 	•	South Fork- (probably pricier wineries) Wolffer, Duckwalk (also across street is a farm with apple and pumpkin picking and kids activities etc), Channing Daughters 	•	North Fork (considered the better wineries)- Osprey’s Dominion, Pugliese, Pindar, Jamesport, Croteaux (all sparkling)
