Questions Regarding the Venue

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at Rolling Meadows Ranch.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors, if weather cooperates. The reception will be indoors but there will be outdoor seating available, including a little fire pit seating area.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

The front of the venue has free parking, and if you need the assistance, they will be shuttling people up to the building with a golf cart.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

The location is wheelchair accessible, and if you need the assistance, they can shuttle you to the outdoor ceremony spot with the golf cart.

Questions Regarding Attire

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

This is casual wedding attire, so by all means skip the bow tie and stiff dress! Think dressy casual, but comfortable. Feel free to bypass heels for wedges or flats — unless, of course, you’re of the “don’t go anywhere without my heels” kind of mindset. If you have any questions regarding your outfit, feel free to reach out to Amber, Kyle, or anyone from the wedding party!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

The average high around this time of year is 70 degrees with the average low being in the mid 40s. We would recommend having layers!

Questions Regarding Food & Drink

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Dinner for the reception will be a combination of active stations and a food truck. Plenty of options! Some items included are burgers, mac and cheese, and a variety of potatoes

What is an Active Station? What kind of food should I expect?

Active Stations are areas where a chef prepares food in a small area; this food is usually smaller in portion and bigger in taste. You will be able to mix and match to your heart's desire, including a potato bar and a mac and cheese station! Think of these stations as your sides, and the food truck providing the substantial meal.

What will you have to drink? Is it an open bar?

Alcohol will not be provided and the venue DOES NOT allow any outside alcohol to be brought in, so please do not bring any with you. We will be providing water, lemonade, and tea at the reception.

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?

Other General Wedding Day Questions

What time should I arrive?

We are aiming to start the ceremony at 4:30 pm, so please show up before then. We would recommend showing up between 4 pm and 4:20 pm so that you don't risk missing anything! Once the ceremony begins, there will be no coming and going, as to keep distractions down and to allow everyone to enjoy without interruptions.

Are kids welcome?

We would love for your kids to join us and we will have a variety of food and desserts that will cater to everyone. However, we also understand if you want a night to yourself. Ultimately, the choice is up to you!

Can I bring a plus one?

In each invitation we included if you were allowed a plus one. If yours DID NOT mention it, please do not bring a plus one with you as it will throw our count off and we have limited accommodations. If you were not told you could bring a plus one but you have someone you would like to bring, or if you originally said NO to having a plus one but need to update it, please ask Amber, Kyle, or anyone from the wedding party as soon as possible so we can accommodate the change!

Who are your vendors?

Great question! Our wedding planned is Angela's Premier Even Designs, our DJ is MonsterBeatz, for our active stations we have Rich Taste Catering, our food truck is The Barking Burger Company, desserts are provided by Cakes by Mindy, photographer (Tricia) and videographer (Sam) are the duo of Willow Tree Creations. Our flowers are done by Hollon Flowers, hair is done by Alysia of Wanderlust Bridal, "day of" services done by Bridals by Amanda. And of course our venue is Rolling Meadows Ranch!
