Our love story started on December 1, 2020. Amber and a friend decided to go have a girls night in their old college stomping grounds at Shenanigans in Huntsville. On the way Ambers friend mentioned that they would meet up with another college classmate, Mason who was in town visiting his friend and were also going out. When Amber and her friend met up with Mason and his friend at the bar, Ambers attention was immediately on the friend who would soon be introduced as Dylan. Over the course of the night Amber got Dylan out on the dance floor to two step. After bar close, the four agreed to all go back to Dylans apartment to hang out for a while. Amber and her friend having to go to work the next morning decided it was time to head out but let the guys know they were planning on coming back to the bar in a couple days. Mason would already be back in East Texas by then but Dylan said he would go out again but needed a phone number to make plans. Amber took his phone and put her number in. Dylan and Amber texted off and on and coordinated plans for the girls coming back to go out again. Then on December 5, 2020, Amber was planning to have a lazy Saturday on the couch watching movies when her friend Maddy called and asked about going shopping for a dress Maddy needed for a wedding. While out shopping, Amber and Dylan were texting and he asked if Amber wanted to get dinner. Amber turned to Maddy and asked Do you think he means like a date?? Maddy said OBVIOUSLY!!. After that first date, Amber and Dylan realized how much they clicked and spent as much time together as they could. Dylan coming to see Amber in The Woodlands and Amber driving to Huntsville to see Dylan while he was finishing school. After graduating Dylan began applying for police departments and when he got the job at Sugar Land asked Amber to move across town with him, the answer was of course. After three years, a couple college degrees, a move, a couple dogs and lots of concerts, laughs, love and memories, on Christmas Day 2023 Dylan popped the question in the apartment living room! And so the love story continues!
