The address for Virginia House is 4301 Sulgrave Road, Richmond, VA 23221. Virginia House is located in the residential Windsor Farms neighborhood, about 2 miles from Carytown.

Parking will be available in the lot next door to Virginia House at Agecroft Hall & Gardens: 4305 Sulgrave Rd, Richmond, VA 23221. For those who choose not to drive, Uber and Lyft will be accessible in the area.

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors in the gardens, while the reception will take place beneath a tent on the patio. Guests will also have access to the interior of the house during the event. All festivities will take place at the same location, Virginia House!

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4 PM. We kindly request that you arrive between 3:30 PM and 3:45 PM to ensure a smooth and timely start.

We kindly ask that you submit your RSVP no later than March 15.

Dress code is cocktail attire. Spring colors and floral prints are encouraged!

We appreciate your understanding that our day will be adults-only, with the exception of children in our immediate family.

A variety of hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour. Dinner will include beef and chicken options, salad, sides, and bread. Non-alcoholic beverages including assorted soda options, lemonade, tea, and water will be available. Beer, wine, seltzers, and two signature cocktails will also be served. Please indicate any dietary restrictions on your RSVP, or reach out to Amber for any additional concerns!

For those who want to keep the celebration going, we will be heading to Siné Irish Pub at 9:30pm for drinks and late night snacks. When you arrive, let them know you are there for the McCumber Wedding party.

Virginia House was formerly an English manor house that was relocated to Richmond in 1925. Designed by Alexander and Virginia Weddell, the home is situated on a hillside overlooking the historic James River. The nearly eight acres of gardens and grounds that surround Virginia House were designed by the noted landscape architect Charles Gillette and provide a rich backdrop throughout the year.
