Amber was introduced to the military, at the Marine Corps Birthday Ball in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also got to meet Andrew's Best Man Sean and his lovely wife Katrina!

We moved in together in 2019, to a cozy little house on the Tregaron golf course in Bellevue, Nebraska - right up the road from US Strategic Command.

We got engaged in the fall of 2019, on the shores of Lake Wehrspann in Nebraska.

We saw family and saw some of the world. Andrew got to meet Amber's grandparents in England.

We got married! In spite of the Coronavirus Pandemic, we decided to commit to a life together. Our wedding was confined to the Chapel in the basement of the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Omaha, where we regularly attended services, with only the bare minimum wedding party allowed, but we made do.

A fresh set of orders had us move to Connecticut for Andrew's advanced tactical course. We got to explore New England and spend some time on the water.

We enjoyed the New England fall, from pumpkin patches to apple picking to an epic Halloween party!

Andrew received orders to serve as the Weapons Officer aboard USS ALABAMA, so we moved to Washington and explored the Pacific Northwest.

Andrew got promoted to Lieutenant Commander, and Amber got to pin his new rank on!

After 20 years of waiting, Andrew got his dream car! Our Aston Martin DB9 is affectionately named 'Nightfire.' We drive it to car events regularly during the warmer months, and have made many friends in the car enthusiast community both in Washington and Nebraska. We also support the Formula 1 team, naturally.

Amber was confirmed into the Catholic faith. Andrew and her Dad Rob got to attend, as well as Rob's wife and Amber's sponsor Brittany.

Andrew completed his tour on ALABAMA! It was a particularly difficult tour, forcing us to find the delicate balance between career and family life, but we made it through more determined to be together. To be near family, Andrew sought and was issued orders to report back to US Strategic Command in Omaha!
