October 29, 2018, the day our worlds were collided.

It was a crisp fall night and we were in the world of online dating. I couldn't tell you the exact time but I, amber was tired and couldn't fall asleep. I decided to browse the men of the online dating world, was not expecting to find anybody but low and behold, a man wearing a bears jersey and a killer smile. I check out his profile and was impressed. My first thought, and Khash will second this was " There is no way this man will reply back to me if I message him". He seemed normal, to normal and if you have never been on a dating site, that is not the norm. So I thought, what the hell! I will give it a go. Messaged him and then closed the app to go to bed, when all of a sudden I heard the ding and he responded back and we exchanged numbers.

4 days later we had our first date. Maybe one of my favorite stories of all time. He texted me as we were trying to decide on plans. Since we met online, I told him I would make it the most awkward date and he was for it. We joked about having a limo pick me up, but with no music and no alcohol, I said, no worries I will bring my own music and wine. We laughed and decided the game plan was Coopers Hawk (my favorite) but I told him it didn't matter what we did as I would be happy with McDonalds. Well that opened another can of worms because now the joke was we were going to take a limo to McDonalds, but I had 1 request- It had to have a BALL PIT. So the running joke is now we will be taking a Limo, to McDonalds, and hang in the ball pit.

Clearly, something went well and he didn't run off because here we are planning our wedding and the proudest parents to our fur babies:)
