Jaden and Amber were set up by Amber’s cousin and her husband- Rachel and Austin. Jaden had been working for Austin for the past several months and they thought they’d be a good match. They were introduced at church on June 25, 2023 and while Jaden was interested to get to know Amber better, Amber wanted absolutely nothing to do with being set up. After some convincing that he really is a great guy, Amber hesitantly agreed to seeing him again in a group setting. After that they went on their first date which lead to a second and a third and a fourth and so on. Jaden asked Amber to be his girlfriend at a rodeo later that summer. It didn’t take long for them to fall totally in love and begin talking of the future and marriage. On June 8, 2024 Jaden called Amber on his “way back home” saying that his car wouldn’t start and that Amber needed to pick him up. She drove out to pick him up and once she was there he told her his car was wrecked but they may as well go on a walk since it was pretty there. They went for a walk and on a hillside covered in flowers in the mountains, Jaden dropped to one knee and asked Amber to Marry him, and she said yes! Amber and Jaden are so excited to begin their married life together on September 21 and are look forward to what God has for them in the future.
