I met Mel 15 years ago in a local Anchorage hot spot! We would occasionally see each other at rec league basketball games, exchange a smile at each other and carry on. Neither of us wanted to make the first move. I think we were both star struck. Fast forward to 2020 and I ran into him at a local dispensary he was employed at. He had no choice but to assist me and that folks, was all she wrote. Just Kidding! Mel and I spent every free minute we had, together. The laughter and jokes were endless. In so many ways were learned we were alike and different at the same time. For me he truly felt like my match, the missing puzzle piece. Mel makes me laugh at my core. He is funny and entertaining, sometimes ridiculously silly, but carries himself with an elegant comedic pose that attracted me to his sincerity and realness. I presume he would say I do the same for him, some might know that humor and wittiness runs in my family and I am full of it!!! I make Mel laugh equally as much! And if you know - LAUGHTER IS JOY! He may also tell you that he loves to eat and enjoys my company at all the local eateries, mostly because I LOVE TO EAT ALSO!
