Joel and the Hutfles Family Band were invited to play music for a birthday party (for Amber’s future sister-in -law, Ashlyn Stipp!!), that Joel would soon find out was at Daryl Wilhelm’s shop (Amber’s dad). Amber and Joel caught each other’s eyes quickly that night, as Joel sang his way into the heart of his now future wife. Music, fun, and conversation carried on late into the night, however, not a word was spoken between the two would-be lovebirds. Later the next day, Amber reached out to Joel through Facebook, thanking him for the entertainment. Joel, understanding the dual-purpose that the message held, promptly responded. One text message led to two, which led to a first-date the following weekend, and the rest is history; praise God!
