Q + A

When do I need to complete my RSVP?

Please complete your RSVP no later than March 30th, so that we can get an accurate headcount of attendees. Please make sure to include all your guests (including children). NOTE: Please include your legal name as shown on your passport, as we will be providing this to the hotel for room bookings.

Will the wedding be held indoors or outdoors, and what's the weather like?

The wedding ceremony will be indoors, while the dinner reception will be held outdoors. It’s hot and sunny in Bali in June, and the skies are mostly clear and blue. You will find the average temperature to be around 21-30 degrees Celsius (70 – 86 degrees Fahrenheit).

What is the dress-code?

The dress code is semi-formal but more importantly, something that makes you comfortable!

When should you arrive in or leave Bali?

Please plan to arrive no later than Saturday, June 21st, and stay until Monday, June 23rd. The wedding ceremony, reception, dinner, and afterparty will happen on Sunday, June 22nd.

Do I need a visa to enter Bali?

Visa on Arrival valid for a maximum of 30 days is available for ASEAN passport holders. A tourist visa is required for non-ASEAN passport holders, which costs IDR500,000 (~$30 USD) with a 30-day validity. To apply for a visa online, please visit https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/ for your application (applicable 30 days prior to your arrival in Bali). Please check on the visa requirements as the rules may be subject to change anytime.

What is covered as part of accommodations?

We will cover 2 nights of hotel stay for all of our guests at the Renaissance Uluwatu Resort. Please specify in the RSVP survey if you require any special accommodations, such as extra rollaway beds / cribs for children). If you wish to extend your stay at Renaissance Uluwatu Resort, please contact our wedding coordinator Ari at +628123659852 (WhatsApp) or marketing@baliweddingparadise.com (email).

How can I get to the hotel (Renaissance Bali Uluwatu) from the airport, and travel around the island?

The most convenient and cost-effective way to travel in Bali is to use the Grab app (local equivalent of Uber). We recommend that you download the app prior to your arrival, and use your credit card to call and pay for rides. Car rental is also an available option. Please contact our wedding coordinator, Ari at marketing@baliweddingparadise.com or Whatsapp at +62812365982 to pre-book car rental assistance. NOTE: Bali traffic can be quite busy especially during peak hours, so please plan for this in advance.

What is the schedule for the day of the wedding (Sunday, June 22nd)?

4:30pm: Wedding ceremony to be held at the Celebration Pavilion in the Renaissance Uluwatu Resort. 5:30pm: Cocktail hour in the bar / pool area (next to the Celebration Pavilion), where refreshments and canapes will be served. 7:00pm: Dinner reception 9:00pm: Afterparty!

Is there a wedding registry for the bride and groom?

We will not be creating a wedding gift registry. However, we will have a gift / donation (red envelopes) drop off area next to the wedding reception (OPTIONAL ONLY!!!).

If I have any questions not answered here, whom should I contact?

Our wedding coordinator, Ari, will be more than happy to assist you. You can reach her at +62 812 365 9852 via WhatsApp or marketing@baliweddingparadise.com via email.
