We are, Ambrose and Ellen, we became acquainted in Connect Class at Church on the Rock and became fast friends. We remained just friends for 1 year. During that time, God healed both of us from many past traumas we had experienced in other relationships. Additionally, during that year God was molding both of us to be able to come together in a Godley way.

In early July of 2023, God saw fit to bring us together to be more than friends and we officially started dating. We quickly discovered how God made us perfect for each other, in many ways we were previously not aware of, and then the whirlwind started.

Dating commenced and throughout the next year we drew closer together in a Godly relationship keeping God first and both individually and together grew closer to God. We felt fairly quickly we were going to get married but we wanted to take the time to get to know each other and build a strong relationship foundation in Christ; something we did not have in previous relationships which allowed God to heal us from these wounds.

Throughout this journey we sought out Godley counsel from various church elders, family and marriage conferences.

We are excited to share our next steps with all the people we know and love and have shared our testimony with.
