It all started sophomore year in history class. Amelia and Everett had never had a class together, or ever seen each other for that matter. Everett took the time to say hi to Amelia every day and the two would laugh and make jokes. What started out as a funny friendship soon turned into late night FaceTime calls, talking during class, and the beginnings of falling in love. Being 15, they cherished the few times they got to hang out since they lived 40 minutes from each other and had to rely on their parents to drive them around. Feeling so far, this distance would be nothing compared to what they would endure in a few quick years. The distance strengthened them in many ways and made each visit that much sweeter. From many Charleston visits to writing letters, driving eight hours to Florida every other weekend in the summer and everything in between, the ultimate goal has always remained the same. To never be without each other, and now here we are!
