It was early 2017 when Amelia and David started meeting up for drinks and casual conversation. While both were longtime friends, they never thought that it would lead to more. As their nights out on the town would increase so did their joy and comfort of one another's company.

When Amelia arrived home after a long trip to Ireland in March of 2017 the couple would once again go out on the town, this time things were a little different. This would be the first night they would kiss and pave the way for what the future would become.

As 2017 progressed into 2018 the couple quickly began to make plans for the future. Amelia would move out of her apartment in Northside and David would sell his condo in East Walnut Hills as they started to look for a house where they could build a future.

In 2019 they found their dream house nestled in the woods, drastically different from the city lives they left behind. A happy and healthy place they could not only call home but one day raise a family.

They started to remodel the house and make it their own. It wouldn’t take long before the house took in its first rescue dog, Dixie in 2020 and then Frankie in 2021. A passion the couple both share and are very proud of.

On New Years Eve in 2021, on Beer Can Island on the West coast of Florida, David proposed to Amelia. She slowly said yes as she was in denial at what David was asking, a question that she thought was still a year... two... or never away ;)
