The Walking Mall is several blocks of shops, museums, restaurants, and bars in Old Town Winchester. The George Washington Hotel, the Welcome Drinks, and the After Party are all within a few blocks of the Walking Mall. The majority of our recommendations in the "Things to Do" and "Food and Drinks" sections of the website are in this area as well.

It is about an hour drive from Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) to Winchester, VA and about an hour and half drive from Reagan Airport in Washington DC (DCA) to Winchester, VA.

While you can schedule rides from the airport to Winchester, we highly recommend getting rental cars. Once you are in Winchester, there are very few ride share options. If you would still prefer to schedule a ride from the airport, please let us know, and we can help you with options.

The George Washington Hotel is walking distance to the majority of the wedding events, but for those who choose to stay in the Courtyard Marriot, there will be a shuttle from the hotel to the reception venue. The shuttle will return guests at the end of the reception and at set times during the after party next door. There is ample parking at the Church for the ceremony. The Church is about a 5-10 minute drive from either hotel.

Street Parking is generally free in Winchester from 6:00 pm on Friday through the weekend. There are also several parking garages near the downtown walking mall. Parking in those garages is $2.00 per hour and $15.00 per day.

Yes, there will be an After Party at Piccadilly Public House from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am directly next door to the Reception Venue. Late night food will be served and drinks will be available for purchase from the bar.
