We met at an urban community gardening and hospitality project in Harrisonburg called Vine and Fig. In different ways, this small but mighty social change project pulled us in from a world-wide web of possibilities and histories.

6 years later, we are still growing food communally and stewarding 40 beautiful acres in the Shenandoah Valley at an organic farm called Willow Run.

Our story has taken us on so many adventures: from friendship to love; from pandemic lockdown to the bicycle trip of our dreams in Glacier National Park; from long distance to living together on the most beautiful hillside overlooking the Allegheny Mountains, alongside our 40-something goats, sheep, and the world's cutest kitten.
