Our welcome event is outdoors as well as the ceremony and happy hour. Temperature low is around 40 degrees and the high is 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Please dress accordingly. The reception is in a heated tent.

Are children invited to our wedding?

We encourage you to book as soon as possible so that you get the room you love! And, although we love them very much, let's please enjoy these few days celebrating without your children.

Can I bring my own alcohol to events?

Yep - be our guest! For any event associated with our wedding, please feel free! You want to bring your fancy wine or Angel's Envy to the wedding reception dinner table? Be our guest (you just may need to share with your neighbors or protect it with your life)! Want to show up to our ceremony with a glass of chardonnay? Absolutely! The venue allows all of this, and we encourage it!!

Please note we will be providing alcohol! This is just in case you have any special favorites you want to enjoy over the weekend :)

How can I modify or cancel my reservation?

The front desk does not have access to create, modify, or cancel reservations within group blocks.

The easiest way to switch a room type is to visit the website, www.chaletviewlodge.com, click on the “check availability” button on the top right, then scroll all the way to the bottom of that page. There, you’ll see a dark gray “Modify or Cancel a Reservation or Itinerary” button. Click on that, then search for the reservation by confirmation number (found in the confirmation email in your inbox) or by email and password if you created an account. Once logged in, you have full control and can change the reservation date, room type, etc. If you experience technical difficulties with your group block, please reach out to Carrie Hickman, our Director of Events, at Carrie@chaletview.com.

What if I need to cancel?

Upon booking your hotel room, Chalet View Lodge will require a deposit of one night plus taxes and fees. If you are staying for multiple nights, they will charge the balance for the remaining night(s) upon check-out. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, please do so at least 72 hours before you are scheduled to check-in, and the lodge will issue a 100% refund of your deposit. If you cancel within the 72 hour window, unfortunately you forfeit your deposit, and Sean and Amelia will incur the cost.
