I dm'ed Sam on Instagram and he instantly fell in love. After months and months of talking, he finally got the courage to ask me on a date. Our first date was far from perfect (just ask), we decided we wanted to go on another one. After two and half years of Facetime calls, weekend visits, and very tearful goodbyes, we finally decided to end being long distance. I am so excited to finally live in the same state as my favorite person. I am so thankful for all of the memories Sam and I share together, and I am glad we get the rest of our lives to make more.
(Sam's Version)
I had seen Amelia come visit church several times, but it struck me as strange when she tried to follow me on Instagram. However, I figured what's the worst that could happen and accepted her follow request. Then I got to meet her at a grocery giveaway a few months later. I knew I liked her but I wasn't looking for a relationship since I didn't know where I was going to go to college, however, I finally decided that I should give it a try. We were already living three and a half hours away from each other, but that didn't seem too bad compared to the seven hours apart we were at college. We made it work with weekend visits and FaceTime calls and now we are finally putting long-distance to an end.
