What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP here on our wedding website by September 15, 2024. Click on the "RSVP" tab above, enter your name, and your invitation will be automatically retrieved!
What is the dress code?
The attire is black tie preferred. If you have a tux or a floor length gown, feel free to whip it out! If not, there is no need to buy something you don't have! Any chic dress or dark colored suit is perfect.
Is parking available near the ceremony and reception?
Yes! For the ceremony, free parking is available in the lot behind St. Anthony of Padua Church (on the corner of Cleveland Ave. and S St. Patrick St.) and on the surrounding streets. For the reception, free parking is available on the street that lines the entryway to the New Orleans Museum of Art (Lelong Dr.) and the street that surrounds the museum (Collins Diboll Cir.).
What is the itinerary for the night?
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Be sure to get there with enough time to park and find a seat. After the ceremony, guests will make their way to NOMA. The reception will begin with specialty cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the front portico of NOMA. Around 8:00 p.m., the front doors of NOMA will open, and the indoor reception will begin. Guests can enjoy more food, an open bar, and dancing until 11:15 p.m.!
Is there anything to know about NOMA?
We are so excited to have our reception at NOMA! Some exhibits will be open to our guests, so feel free to enjoy the artwork (our personal favorites are the Picasso and Warhol on the second floor). However, don’t get too caught up in the exhibits - we’ll be looking for you on the dance floor! And, yes, the rumors are true: to protect the art, NOMA does not allow red wine. Don’t worry, the bar will be fully stocked otherwise!
Are children allowed?
This is an adult-only reception. Leave the kids at home and come have a cocktail(s) on us!
Are we heading somewhere post-reception?
For all the youngins who want to keep the party going, follow the wedding party to The Gold Mine Saloon on Dauphine Street after the reception ends!
Are there hotel rooms reserved?
No. Because we have minimal out-of-town family and friends, we did not reserve any rooms at hotels. If needed, here are some recommendations for accommodations in the city:
Try Hotel St. Vincent in the Lower Garden District for a more upscale hotel with character. The restaurant on the first floor, San Lorenzo, is one of Amelie's and Harrison's favorites!
Another great option is to book a hotel in the Warehouse District. Check out the Hampton Inn & Suites at the New Orleans Convention Center. For other reasonably priced hotels, look into the Marriotts in the Warehouse District: the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District, the Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans Warehouse Arts District, or the SpringHill Suites by Marriott New Orleans Warehouse Arts District.
Guests can also look for an Airbnb in the Mid City area. See the below map for our recommended location.
Please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom if you have any unanswered questions.
