To say that we didn't necessarily experience "love at first viewing-of-social-media profile picture" would be a bit of an understatement. A mutual friend did her best to set us up, but neither of us were enthused after a first online look. Luckily for us, that friend wouldn't take "no" for an answer and was smart enough to arrange for us to meet in person at her birthday party in the College Park Applebee's (RIP). After we met in real life for the first time, we expanded our horizons to other fine College Park establishments (thanks Looney's and Board and Brew), and the rest is history.

One college graduation, two apartments, many vacations, and an innumerable amount of good times later, we're so excited to get married in front of our friends and family, and prove once-and-for-all that you shouldn't believe everything you see on the internet.
