Sunday mornings from 8:00 am-1:00 pm, you can explore the Dupont Circle Farmer's Market! If you're looking for a coffee to help wake up after the festivities, this is a fun and lively place to get one and check out some wonderful local farmers!
If you're coming from out of the country, or maybe the last time you were in DC was in eighth grade, it is always nice to stroll the Mall on a sunny day. Bonus points if you explore Matt and Amie's favorite memorials: the Theodore Roosevelt memorial and the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial.
Not too far from Iron Gate is Georgetown Waterfront Park! You can see some of DC's famous sites, such as the Potomac River, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and enjoy some wonderful restaurants. Nearby there is plenty of shopping to be done on M Street!
Not too far from our apartment is one of the best bookstores in DC! There is a lovely cafe downstairs and there are often free lectures given in the afternoons and evenings! Be sure to check out the sale section...
If you are looking for something a little closer to our wedding venue, Kramers is another wonderful bookstore with a restaurant, bar, and even a barber attached!
Our favorite restaurants!
