Early Days of Dating

At a celebration for Amie's Aunt and Uncle, Erik got to meet her entire family. Later this weekend Erik would say I love you for the first time.

Erik and Amie took their first trip together to Washington D.C.. On this trip Amie got to meet Julia, Justin, and Cassie for the first time.

Erik's parents came to visit and we all enjoyed a great pool day! This was the first time Amie was introduced to Erik's parents. A lot of fun was had, especially by Rachel.

Erik got to show Amie all of his old stomping grounds as they explored NYC and watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Erik and Amie celebrated 1 year together in Savannah, Ga.

The day of the proposal. Amie had no idea! Erik had planned on proposing at the top of Saint Peter's Basilica but the perfect moment came when we were walking through the streets of Rome.

Erik proposed to Amie on a walk back to their hotel. Erik had to "tie his shoes" in an alley and when Amie turned around to ask if he was done yet he said "No, I still have a question to ask". It was then that he pulled out a ring box and neither Amie or Erik could tell you what was said after but the important thing is that Amie said yes!
