Renowned as both a Space Cowboy and as a Gangster of Love, Kristin has been Amo's confidant and internal voice of reason for over a decade. She is currently Alex's writing critic and pen friend. As she is good at pretty much everything she sets her mind to, Amo and Alex cheated off her wedding plans (so if this whole thing looks good, we can all thank her.)

An actual ray of sunlight in human form, Chipy brings giggles wherever she goes. She and Alex met in 2012 and share several fandoms, a love of snacks, and perhaps the most adorable friendship Amo has ever seen. She and Darien were the two people Amo went to before asking Alex to marry her, and it should be noted that Chipy gives excellent pep talks.

Darien and Alex met in 2008 while working at a movie theater in St. Cloud. He was also Amo's first new friend when she moved to Minneapolis from Chicago. Credited with introducing Alex to Amo, there is perhaps no one who has been closer to the two of them as a couple throughout their journey. There are lot of quips I could make here but I think I will forgo them and simply say that Darien has been and continues to be an invaluable part of Team Danger.

Amo can credit her survival of her Art School Years to Beth. Her holistic approach to life taught Amo how to appreciate detail and her sense of mise en place was a welcome reprieve to busy Chicago life. Despite several large life changes and hundreds of miles of distance, Beth remains Amo's right hand man, and continues to make Amo's world a more colorful place

Ryan entered Amo and Alex's lives almost simultaneously through a YouTube cooking show that is worthy of a different story all together. Actually, Ryan is a wonderful storyteller, and you should definitely pick his brains sometime about just about any topic. A loyal friend, Ryancomes through for those he cares for. Amo and Alex are lucky to have him in their corner.

Emma and Amo have been friends since the literal dawn of time. The two of them went from playmates in a tiny town on the Iron Range to pen pals to reconnecting in person when Amo moved to Minneapolis after college. Emma, at that point, was living with Alex and Darien (both of whom Amo met independently of her.) All of this is proof that love is real and transcendent and that everyone in Minnesota knows one another.

Alicia and Alex's relationship is that of the youngest/oldest child dynamic. In other words she made it possible for him to get away with murder. She's been a well of advice for his professional life, and is the person he looks to whenever he wonders what being a responsible, has-their-shit together adult looks like.

Will and Amo met in art school and were later roommates in the famed Orange Apartment. Will has a wonderful wit and Amo loves his ability to challenge her. Discussions she has had with Will on Big Life Stuff continue to shape her worldview, years later. The two have grown and matured into well-adjusted adults who still definitely laugh at stupid internet animal videos.
