We met the traditional way, online, on Bumble. Ha! After many years of searching, and failing to actually meet up the first time 2 years prior, we swiped right a second time and the exchange went like this: Amorette: "you look familiar, are we gonna do this dance again sir?"Justin: "well only if you take my hand..." And the rest is history!

Can I bring my kids?

Due to capacity and safety concerns, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation. As such, we ask that you leave the kiddos at home. Thanks for your understanding and we hope you can enjoy the night away!

What's the weather like?

North Carolina has a tendency to get a little hot in June. As such, expect afternoon highs around 83-88 degrees, and lows in the evening around 64 to 69 degrees. While the ceremony will be outdoors on the terrace, the reception will take place indoors in air conditioning.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your invitation will be labeled with "And Guest", if it does not have the label- we would love to celebrate with just yourself!

When should we arrive?

Please promptly arrive between 4pm- 4:15pm as the ceremony begins at 4:30pm. Late arrivals will disrupt the ceremony.

Can I take photos?

YES, but....please refrain from pictures during the ceremony! We want everyone joining us to be present in the moment- we can't wait to share with you!Also- we have a killer photographer who will be capturing the moments for us!

For the ladies:Dresses or gowns in midi to maxi length are a great choice. We'd love to see you in our colors! Our colors will be BRIGHT: lots of pinks, oranges, yellows- so don't be afraid to add color! Our ceremony will take place outdoors in June, so light and bright fabrics are perfect for the season!For the gentlemen:Bright or light-colored summer suits or dressy separates (coat and slacks) would be a great choice. Adding in pops of color with your tie, pocket square, or shoes are a perfect complement to tie together a dressy summer fit! Just like the ladies, don't be afraid to be bright!

We have room blocks at each of the above hotels for preferred rates! All of the selected hotels will be within walking distance of the Mint Museum Uptown, and will minimize the need to search for parking in the center city.

If you're joining us via flight, Charlotte Douglas Airport is a short 15 minute drive to Uptown Charlotte and the Mint Museum.

Parking- the Mint Museum

We HIGHLY encourage all of our local guests to utilize ride apps like Uber or Lyft for your transportation needs. Mint Museum Uptown offers $10 maximum validation before 5 PM Friday to our visitors in the Levine Center for the Arts parking garage located on Brooklyn Village Avenue between Tryon and Church Streets. If using GPS, you can enter address 130 West Brooklyn Village Ave, Charlotte, NC 28202 to find the garage entrance. Follow interior signs towards the Mint Museum elevators, as you can access the Mint directly from the parking deck elevators on the 2nd level. Once inside the museum, the wedding will be on the 5th floor.

We are centering our weekend in the heart of uptown Charlotte, with loads of activities to explore.

Visit the museum to check out the modern art galleries ahead of the ceremony! Situated on the Levine Avenue of the Arts, also check out more of Uptown’s world-class museums,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.charlottesgotalot.com/things-to-do/arts-culture/bechtler-museum-of-modern-art" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bechtler Museum of Modern Art</a> and the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.charlottesgotalot.com/things-to-do/arts-culture/harvey-b-gantt-center-for-african-american-arts-culture" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Harvey B. After strolling through Romare Bearden Park, cross the street to enjoy the lively French Quarter within the historic Latta Arcade. Full of eateries, shops, and nestled in between the skyscrapers- the Alley is a great spot to enjoy a game, a sip, or a snack!
