Amreen and Calvin met early on in medical school, but it wasn't until a shared psychiatry rotation that they became friends. Bonding over mutual interests, like movies and food, the relationship continued to grow. At some point it was decided that they were dating, though neither one actually recalls a first date or being asked out on a date.

The couple's relationship flourished, despite being apart for intern year, the stresses of their individual residencies, and raising their goldendoodle puppy Luna.

Amreen and Calvin got engaged in San Diego and are excited to get married in Dallas, surrounded by family and friends.
