What is the dress code?

The wedding is black-tie optional. Guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire – for women, an evening gown and for men, a tuxedo – but may also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress.

Do you have hotel blocks for guests?

Yes. We have a limited number of rooms blocked at The Westin at The Woodlands for a special rate. To find this special rate, click on the "Travel" tab of our wedding website.

Are my kids welcome?

Although we love your kids, in order to give our guests (and parents!) a night of relaxation, we have decided to have an adults-only event.

Is there a shuttle to the wedding venue (Madera Estates) in Conroe?

If you are staying at The Westin at The Woodlands, then yes. If you have made arrangements to stay elsewhere, then you will need to find your own transportation to and from the venue. If you are driving yourself, there will be parking available at Madera Estates.

Are there any COVID protocols for the wedding?

Currently, there are no specific protocols for our wedding. However, COVID-specific protocols may be developed prior to the wedding if it is warranted. We do encourage everyone to be fully vaccinated prior to the event, as you are protecting not only yourselves but those around you as well. If you feel sick in any way on the day of the wedding, please stay home. We will surely miss you, but the safety of our guests is more important than you showing us your sweet dance moves. We will leave masks and social distancing up to the discretion of our guests. Above all else, please be respectful of the health and safety of those around you.

What time should I arrive?

The wedding ceremony starts promptly at 6:00PM. Please plan to arrive at 5:30PM to be seated.

When is the deadline to RSVP?

March 4, 2022

Can I take pictures?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want. Our wedding hashtag will be available on the wedding day, and if you have any ideas on a good wedding hashtag, please let us know :)
