WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
The ceremony will start at 6:30pm, we ask that you arrive at the venue before 6:15pm. There will be a cash bar available until the ceremony starts.
IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?
Yes! And it’s free!
There is a huge parking lot. If you do drive to the venue, please be sure to leave your car overnight if the drinks have been flowing!
We want all of our guests to be safe and responsible - you know who you are, PartyPeople ;)
WHAT IS THE DRESSCODE?
Summer Cocktail Attire.
It’s going to be August - we know it may be hot! Please dress how you would be comfortable with weather to look and feel your best!
There’s no such thing as being overdressed!
IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Both! Our ceremony will be outside, weather permitting, followed by cocktail hour inside.
Dinner and Reception will be inside; guests will have access to the patio outside for the entirety of the event.
We will have our hand-fan favors out on each chair for the ceremony to help keep you all cool!
And yes - we can smoke outside, please be mindful of your butts and ensure to put them in the designated smoker’s poles.
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
Since it will be Summer in Chicago we are hoping for a perfect Golden Hour with warm weather (and praying for a breeze) with expected mild temperatures at night.
In Orland Park, Illinois, the average August 1st temperature is typically around 75°F
The average high is 83°F and the average low is 64°F
We will have our hand-fan favors out on each chair for the ceremony to help keep you all cool!
WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED?
Transportation is available for guests who book rooms with DoubleTree Hilton - Alsip (on 127th St). Please keep in mind the 15min travel time from the hotel to the venue!
The shuttle will take you to the venue and back to the hotel after the event.
Please utilize Uber/Lyft/DD if you feel unsafe to drive!
IS THERE A HOTEL BLOCK RESERVED?
Yes! We reserved room blocks at two hotels: Hampton Inn Chicago Orland Park (16176 La Grange Rd) and DoubleTree by Hilton - Alsip (5000 W 127th St).
Ensure to use the specific reservation links on the Hotel page to enter the reservation codes!
Hampton Inn - 11min from venue, no shuttle offered.
DoubleTree - 15min from venue, shuttle provided!
WHAT TIME DOES THE RECEPTION END?
Technically 12:30am, we’ll see how the night goes if we end up adding on more time.
Hard cutoff is 1am.
We do not have established after-party plans. In all honesty, Amy has reached her limit with planning hahah
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
As much as we’d love to see all the kiddos, due to capacity limits, we can only invite children who are part of the wedding party.
We're looking forward to having our guests relax and enjoy an evening of celebration—our wedding will be an adult-only event.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS AT THE WEDDING?
Short answer: no
During our unplugged ceremony, we ask that you let the professional photographers and videographer take care of things as you enjoy the moment in real time with us!
We’d rather look back on the memories seeing your face instead of your phone :)
You're welcome to take photos after the ceremony during cocktail hour and the reception.
WHAT IF I HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Please let us know on your RSVP response and we will get the necessary accommodations set for you!
IS THE VENUE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes! There are ramps to enter the venue.
Once inside, there are no other stairs. The outside garden patio ceremony area is directly adjacent to the door for the indoor reception space.
