Amy and Steve met as tiny 16 year-olds on an Outward Bound course in the Northern Cascade Mountains (those four youngins above). She thought he was dreamy. He went over the wrong mountain pass because, ahem, he wasn’t watching the trail. They fell a little bit in love way back then.

In fall of 2020 they reconnected (same four not-so-youngins below). Washington to England and Kenya was a haul, but they spun their own version of a long distance love.
