Picture the Spring of 2013 in your heads: New Zealand teenager Lorde released her debut single ‘Royals’, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad tied for the Emmy win in best drama series, Justin Rose just won his first major at the US Open, dance floors are jumping to Avicci’s ‘Wake Me Up’, the Yankees were well on their way to a 3rd place finish in the AL East and on June 4, 2013, Amy Dahl agreed to meet Greg Hill at the Jane Bond in Waterloo. Amy was well out of Greg’s league but she gave this big lug a shot anyways. It must have been that first kiss in the parking lot. As the days and weeks passed, Greg, knowing he was just one of plenty of fish in the sea, was on his best behaviour and was the best version of his charming self trying to impress this beautiful young woman. In the summer, Greg confessed his love to Amy. Amy proposed that they move in together. Greg agreed and then tore his knee to shreds. Amy left for Austria. But, it all worked out in the end. Amy and Greg moved to Elmira in the Fall of 2014 and looked forward to beginning their lives together in, albeit, an unconventional fashion: house first, kids second, marriage last. But, that marriage was put on hiatus a number of times due to a pandemic and rescheduling issues. But, here they are now, looking forward to celebrating their union with all of you this coming August in Huntsville.

When you arrive a the hotel, there is parking available in the lot outside of the front entrance. If you need parking close to the ceremony space, please park in the lot that is closer to the water from the hotel off of Valley Road. If you are driving away from the resort, downhill on Valley Road, it is on the left hand side, close to the outdoor pool and the lake.

Where to Stay

If you would like to book at the resort, there is a two night minimum. Resort amenities include indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub, spa, restaurant and bar, beach with swimming and boating options and is pet friendly. These rooms will be held for booking until Tuesday June 3rd, 2025.
