<p><strong>In March of 2017, Samantha persuaded Amy to sign up for Match.com. Amy was very reluctant, but it was worth a shot since she was ready to meet her prince charming. After a few weeks of a lot of duds, Amy was about to give up. It seemed to be just a waste of her time. On April 4th, a message popped up from a cute guy named Rock but Amy never replied. On April 6th another message from Rock popped up so she decided to reply and give it a shot! After a night of exchanging messages, they exchanged phone numbers and then the texts were endless. Rory set up a time to call Amy, and of course Amy talked his ear off. They went on their first date and met for the first time at Horatios in San Leandro. It was love at first sight! From that night on, they were inseparable. After a few short months, Rory bought a house in Patterson that they have made their home. In August 2018, they were thrilled to find out that they were expecting and could not be happier to take on the adventure of parenthood together. March 6, 2019, their lives have changed forever when baby boy Roc David MacDougall was born. A few months later, while riding through the redwoods in the Santa Cruz mountains, on the way to the boardwalk, Rory got on one knee and asked Amy to marry him. Amy was shocked and instantly burst into happy tears! It was a perfect day and a day that they will never forget. Amy and Rory can't wait for you to celebrate their special day with them this fall! </strong></p>
