The year was 2016, the place was Western New England, the app was snap chat, and Amy made the first move. Let's set the seen. It was Easter of 2016 and Amy sent a snapchat to Matt, to which he responded...little did they know that would be the start of forever.

Fast forward to the first time they met in person, Amy asked Matt to the lacrosse formal at Western New England. Tensions were high, the drinks were flowing, and it was clear to Matt the moment he walked in and saw Amy that they were one in the same. They spent the night dancing and playing games with their close friends.

After formal was a success, Matt knew he had to take Amy on a date, what better place to go than Plan B Burger. They shared good conversation, drinks and Amy's burger. Let it be known, that Matt also ate his own burger. Being the dessert lover that Amy is, she suggested cold stone, to which Matt immediately responded No. Even though Amy started to question her life choices, she knew she could turn this boy into an ice cream lover because despite his lack of interest in dessert the date and the company had Amy wanting more.

Shortly after graduating from Western New England, Amy and Matt moved in together and set their roots in the beautiful town of Plainville, CT. It wasn't long after that they came to realize that their house was just too big for the two of them and they decided to add their golden child, Zoey to the love and home they were creating.

After 7 years of growing and supporting each other in the midst of changing career paths and life itself, everything came together in 2023 where Matt decided he wanted to take the next step and propose. The plan was already in motion when the next vacation spot was set for Italy. The ring was secured, the blessings were given, the bags were packed and there was no turning back. On the first night, on the first bridge in the beautiful city of Venice, Matt got down on one knee and asked the love of his life, Amy, to be his wife. Utterly shocked, overjoyed and consumed with love, Amy said YES to forever.
