Q + A

What is the dress code?

Dress to impress! Gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sport coat. Ladies should wear cocktail attire or formal dress.

Is there transportation to the venue?

YES! We have a FREE shuttle from the AC Hotel to the venue and then multiple trips back at night starting at 9pm and ending at 11:00pm. If you drive, there is free parking available in the park near the pavilion on the street. You will not be towed if a car is left overnight.

What is the weather like this time of year?

For those coming from Michigan, Cincinnati tends to be much warmer in the fall. Average temperatures range from 45-68 degrees in October. We do recommend bringing a coat as mid-west weather is unpredictable. There will be outdoor and indoor heaters. If there is rain, the wedding will be moved into the covered pavilion.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for an hour. There will be a cocktail hour directly next to the ceremony space for guest to enjoy with passed hors d'oeuvres.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

There are multiple stairs at the entrance of the pavilion, however there is a driveway leading to the back of the pavilion where guests can drop of those who are unable to use stairs.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

There will be an open bar and hors d'oeuvres for guests to enjoy. There will also be a buffet style dinner with beef, chicken, veggies, and a starch option. Please contact us ahead of time if you have any special dietary needs and we will make sure this is accommodated for!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you suggest we stay?

We have blocked hotel rooms at the AC Hotel Cincinnati on the banks. Please see the travel section for a direct link to their website. This hotel is within 15 minutes of the venue. It is also within walking distance of multiple restaurants/bar, Cincinnati Reds stadium, and a great view of the river and downtown.
