Our Wedding

Amy and Adam met in September of 2020, just as they were both starting new chapters of life in Madison, WI (which was also coincidentally named that year as "Best City in the US for Single People to Meet Someone"). Their shared love for family, mutual enthusiasm about even the most mundane parts of life, and incomparable passion for the Green Bay Packers made them a wonderful match. (Amy was quite relieved on their first date to find out that despite growing up in Colorado and Maine, Adam’s Wisconsin roots were strong enough that he understood the beauty of a supper club and could recall every game of the Packers 2010 season -- non-negotiable qualities). You will be hard-pressed to find two people who so loyally support each other’s career goals and dreams, or who find as much joy from setting up Christmas decorations, cheering for the Badgers, watching a sunset, singing in the car, or soaking up a sunny day. Their shared love for the Great Outdoors has taken them on many wonderful adventures already, and they can’t wait to experience all that is yet to come. Getting to celebrate their love alongside their closest family and friends is a dream come true!

Fun Facts:   1) Amy's parents (George and Patti) and Adam's parents (Jay and Mary) were both married on the same day of the same year - September 9, 1989.   2) For their first date, Adam asked Amy out to a restaurant named Quivey's Grove, which they found out a year later was the same restaurant Adam's parents had visited for their first date.   3) Upon attending their first Packer game together, Amy and Adam realized that their families' season tickets are only about 30 feet apart, suggesting they've probably seen each other several times over the years without ever knowing they would one day be married.
