Our story is both common and uncommon. The common part is that we met much like most couples do these days…online. We shared a few text exchanges, phone conversations, and planned our first date at a coffee shop (which is appropriate since we both love coffee)! The date went well of course and things blossomed from there! The uncommon part is that we are both 52 and this is the first wedding for both of us! I was starting to lose hope that I would find the one, but I never stopped trying and I’m so thankful I didn’t! John was well worth the wait and so excited to be marrying him!! At this age we both know what we want in life and we don’t. We both know we want each other and it is awesome!!
