You know, I (Austin) laughed at quite a lot of people for going on dating websites looking for their “one true love”. I laughed even harder when people told me you would find the one just as soon as you stopped looking.

Whelp, count this as me shoving my foot in my mouth for all of that. Who would have thought that working across the hall from each other for years wouldn't lead to anything, but being on Bumble for a few hours would lead to a lifetime of Happiness. Amy and I got together and never looked back. From our first date at Gorski's, to getting engaged with a thousand Rose Petals, it's been a whirlwind of love and fun through the whole trip. It's fun to look back on our first trip together, going to the Shedd Aquarium. We were so new back then but even so it was obvious that we were something special.

Our first big challenge was when I had to have surgery on my finger and was out of work for 8 weeks, not able to do just about anything. I never would have thought that we would weather that like a seasoned married couple, but wow, at the end of that we came out stronger and better than ever. It was around there that we both knew that this would be the one we would spend our whole lives with. Nobody called that faster than Amy's parents though! Linda and Joe were dropping comments and hints at us from the get go, and I couldn't be more proud to say they were right. I introduced Amy to all my friends in Mosinee, and WOW that was the fastest attachment to somebody I have ever seen. It seemed instantaneous, they met Amy and knew that I wanted to be with her for all time. To this day I still get laughed at by them about it! But if I'm being honest, I wouldn't have it any other way. Amy is adored by all my loved ones, and that's something that can never be beaten. That is a gift worth all the Heavens. To make things seem even more destined, I made a new friend at work, and Amy and I went over to watch a Packer’s game with them back in 2021. Amy was nervous about having to make friends with the guy's wife, only to find out his wife was an old friend of Amy's that she hadn't seen in years! Before you knew it, we had made one of the best couple friends we will ever make in our life and now both of them are standing up in our wedding! You can't buy destiny like that, no matter what you do.

Some things are just meant to work out, and one of those things is Amy and I!
