Yes — a valid passport is required for all U.S. citizens traveling internationally. Since our wedding will be held outside the U.S., you’ll need a passport to attend. If you don’t currently have a passport, or if yours is expired (or expiring within 6 months of travel), we recommend starting the application or renewal process as soon as possible.

Processing times can vary depending on demand and the time of year. As of now: Routine processing takes 6–8 weeks. Expedited processing (for an additional fee) takes about 2–3 weeks. You can apply or renew through the U.S. State Department website, your local post office, or a passport acceptance facility.

We recommend arriving on May 1st, the day before the ceremony, to give yourself time to settle in and relax. The wedding begins at 3:00 PM on May 2nd, and most resort check-in times are also around 3:00 PM. Arriving on the day of the wedding could make it challenging to get checked in, ready, and to the ceremony on time—so coming a day early will help make the whole experience more relaxed and enjoyable.

There’s no minimum stay required—feel free to come for just the wedding day or make a longer vacation out of it! That said, we recommend arriving at least one day before the ceremony, on May 1st, to give yourself time to settle in and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.

For your convenience, transportation between the airport and the resort is available through the resort’s official transportation service, Go Majestic. The cost is $90 per person (round trip).
