In 2015, Blake and Amy met by chance at a bar in Tuscaloosa through mutual friends when he lived in Atlanta and she lived in Birmingham. After chatting for a while, Amy noticed that Blake sneakily ordered another beer every time his friend mentioned wanting to leave. So, when she came back from the bathroom she decided to make the first move and sit down next to him. There was clearly a connection there, but they went their separate ways that first day. Blake asked their mutual friend about Amy and added her on Facebook the next day. She was excited to connect and messaged him. After talking for a week or so, Blake asked Amy if she'd meet him back in Tuscaloosa for a first date the next weekend (pictured below). After that, no amount of miles could keep them apart. 8 years later, they have made their home together in Louisville, KY and couldn't be happier.

In addition to hotel accommodations, there are condominiums and luxury homes on-site at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. If booking either, please also mention our block. Additional hotel options are available in downtown Whitefish, MT 1-2 miles from The Lodge, or nearby Kalispell, MT 20 miles from The Lodge.

HOW TO GET THERE

Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) is approximately 20 minutes from The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. Shuttle service can be scheduled with the front desk ahead of your arrival. However, some guests may choose to fly into a larger airport and rent a car. Missoula Montana Airport (MSO) is the next closest option, about a two and a half hour drive from Whitefish, MT.
