Our Wedding

Alex and Amy attended the same college at SUNY Brockport. They met through mutual friends on a few different occasions throughout the years. It wasn’t until 9/11/2020 that the two reconnected at a bonfire in Brockport. Later, around Halloween 2020, Alex invited Amy out with friends. Amy unfortunately had a COVID scare (this was back when COVID-19 was a big deal) so she declined. Through their mutual friend, Marcus, she asked if Alex could “hit her up.” Alex then slid into Amy’s Instgram DM’s (as the kids say), and the rest is history. Alex and Amy started dating on December 6th 2020 after. A love founded on a shared enjoyment for diverse food, travel, cats, TV, and hiking blossomed as Amy finished her senior year at Brockport and Alex finished his final year in grad school. In January 2023, they adopted their first cat, Céline, together. Alex and Amy moved in together in July 2023 in Greece, NY. Alex proposed on January 13th, 2024 during a weekend getaway in Saratoga Springs. They decided to have their wedding in Amy’s quaint hometown in Sackets Harbor, NY, at a beautiful waterfront venue.

Amy met Kennedy when she weaseled her way into Alex's friend group when they first started dating. Amy and Alex love Kennedy for her generosity, kindness, and sense of humor.

Kim and Amy met at Amy’s old job at the mental health clinic. They bonded over a shared love of Taylor Swift and cats!

Alex met Anthony in his senior year of college. Amy met Anthony when he and Alex were watching Demon Slayer on a Saturday evening when they could have been out partying. He never says no to a board game!

Jasmine and Amy have been friends since high school, when Amy tried to fit into the friend group’s obsession with the Marvel franchise. Deep down, Amy didn’t care much for super hero movies, but she pretended so she could be friends with Jasmine. It worked!!

Amy became friends with Rhian after inserting herself into Alex’s friend group. Rhian is always down to get a coffee, go hiking, shop for holiday-themed decor, and yap!

Justin is Alex’s brother, so they go WAY back. Not only were they roommates in college, they were actually WOMB mates because they are twins! Not as cool as Amy being a triplet though…

Luke is Alex’s younger brother. Luke can be found at the gym or hanging out with his cat, Patty!

Anthony and Alex met in early college and have stayed long time friends. We love Anthony for his generosity, kindness, and ability to make us laugh. Anthony’s least favorite thing is gossip he doesn’t know about.
