Our Wedding

Our story starts during our junior year at Plymouth Canton Education Park in Canton, MI. We met in Military History class.&nbsp;Moe sat behind me and was the boy who knew it all.&nbsp;Moe talked all the time and would constantly annoy me by pulling my hair.&nbsp;Little did I know that he had a crush on me. Senior Prom night we happened to be sitting at the same table with mutual friends and talked a bit. After high school graduation, I enrolled at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, MI and Moe was working close by.&nbsp;We had stayed in touch here and there, but it wasn’t until August 2019 that we reconnected at Schoolcraft College. I was starting my last semester before transferring to Michigan State University and Moe started to take classes again. We would see each other in between classes, and I would always get butterflies in my stomach when I would see him. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;January 2020, I started attending Michigan State University. After getting settled into my new home for the semester, Moe asked me to be his girlfriend on January 8, 2020.&nbsp;During the last weekend in January, when I went home, I nervously told my parents that I had a boyfriend. Moe and I decided the best way for him to meet my parents was over Facetime because of Moe’s work schedule. It went very well! On February 22, 2020, Moe drove to Michigan State for our first date at Peanut Barrel and then we enjoyed ice cream at the MSU Dairy Store. I took him to Spartan Stadium and I told him that I hope he would come back for a football game during the fall. We celebrated Moe’s birthday on March 2, 2020 at Texas Roadhouse and then went to play glo-golf. Little did we know this would be the last time we would see each other before the pandemic started. On April 26, 2020, Moe brought me flowers and we went on our first of many walks together. We started to see each other more and more as the weather got nicer and restrictions were lifted. Over the next couple of months, Moe started to meet my family, celebrated with me my 21st birthday (he bought me my first legal drink 😊), more walks in the park, and visiting me in Port Huron where I worked at a country club as part of my internship through Michigan State University. We continued to learn more and more about each other. The next several months were spent enjoying time together seeing each other as much as our schedules would allow. In December 2020, we started a tradition of going to Frankenmuth, MI. We would walk around to view all the Christmas lights and purchase a personalized ornament from Bronner’s. On December 16, 2023, our lives changed when we went up to Frankenmuth for our annual tradition. After walking through Bronner’s, strolling through the village, and getting our annual picture by the fireplace at Bavarian Inn, Moe got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife and I SAID YES!!!! It was one of the happiest days of our lives. To celebrate, we enjoyed drinks and food with our friends, visited Moe’s grandpa and his mom, visited with some of our other friends and then ended the night with my parents. Thank you for your love and support. We cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together!

Moe and Amy enjoy going to the Detroit Zoo to see their favorite animals. Moe's favorite are the tigers and Amy's favorite are the penguins.
