NO! We would love for you to come and enjoy the beautiful lake and national forest for a weekend getaway but we understand that may not be possible for everyone. We are happy to have you for just one day or all three!

No- just please look nice! Also, we highly recommend LIGHT clothing (colors and weight) as it may get toasty in the summer sun…you can always take a dip in the lake afterwards! Ladies: PLEASE wear flats/wedges and NOT stilettos- the walk up to the ceremony site is NOT heel friendly and we don’t want anyone getting hurt.

There are endless opportunities for fun near our wedding venue! There are hiking trails (pack your boots); we have lake access (pack a swimsuit and kayak/paddleboard); the NOC is a short drive (white water rafting or tubing, anyone?); shopping and brewery opportunities in nearby Bryson City! We cannot promise we will be available to everyone at all times during the weekend but we do promise it’ll be a good time!
