We met for the first time March 1st - a day we will always remember! We got ice cream at Rusty's Custard Factory on Main street in Norman, talked about our love for outdoors, our love for our families, and how much we wanted to build one of our own one day.

We became official! Foster asked Amy to be his girlfriend at her house in Norman, the same place her Dad proposed to her Mom, and her brother Kurt proposed to her sister-in-law J.

We made a tour of meeting family and friends with weekend trips to the Sequoyah club in Tahlequah, OK, to "Pasque lake" in Missouri, and Lake Texoma in southern Oklahoma. It was the sweetest way to get to know each other more and meet the people most important to our lives. Our families are a major part of who we are today, and finally showing our families "our person" was an absolute JOY!

Foster asked Amy to marry him at their future home in Norman, OK. The plan was to get ready for a date night in Norman... little did Amy know she was getting ready for her proposal! Foster asked Amy for a quick walk down the driveway to see the sunset before they headed to dinner, and he got on one knee to ask Amy to be his forever girl.
