Can you tell me about Sandals: Dunn's River?

Sandals: Dunn's River is a state of the art resort that opened in May 2023. All Sandals resorts are all inclusive. Sandal's: Dunn's River includes: unlimited fine dining at 12 restaurants, unlimited premium liquors at 9 different bars throughout the resort, including a poolside, swim-up bar, stocked bars in every room, unlimited water sports adventures, SCUBA diving, unlimited land sports, day and night entertainment, 5 pools, 2 rivers, and more! All tips, taxes and gratuity are included in your original booking price. You can also choose to book airfare through Sandals (airfare becomes available at 330 days before your arrival date), and wifi is included in all rooms and common areas. Please refer to the website for more information regarding the resort: https://www.sandals.com/dunns-river/

Can I bring my kids?

Sandals is an adult only resort (18+ years of age) so kids will not be able to stay at the resort where the wedding is being held. Beaches resorts are kid friendly and those wishing to bring children should look to book at Beaches: Ocho Rios. Sandals and Beaches resorts are owned by the same company, so those staying at a Beaches resort will be allowed to travel to Sandals: Dunn's River for the ceremony. Children will be required to return to the Beaches resort after the ceremony. All those who are over the age of 18 are welcome to stay for the reception.

When should I book by?

We recommend booking as soon as possible. Sandals: Dunn's River is a small and brand new resort, and we expect that rooms are in high demand. Reserving a room requires a minimal deposit, with the remaining total being due 60 days before your trip. All bookings must be made by July 14th, 2024.

How should I book my trip?

Please refer to the "Travel" tab for further instructions. We ask that all guests book through Ryan Trenn at Take Me Away Travel to to be included in our wedding group.

What will the cost be for the trip?

Cost will vary depending on resort, days booked, and room. Sandals: Dunn's River offers a variety of accommodations for guests depending on budget. Their most affordable room (Travertine Luxury Room w/ Tranquility Soaking Tub) is $265 per person, per night; and their most luxurious room (Coyaba Sky Villa Swim-Up Rondoval Butler Suite w/ Private Pool Sanctuary) is $909 per person per night. Flights are not included (but can be booked as package through Sandals). If not booking through Sandals, we recommend the "Hopper" app for booking flights. Please refer to this link for more information regarding rooms: https://www.sandals.com/dunns-river/rooms-suites/ Because Dunn's River is a new resort, prices are higher than other Sandal's resorts on the island. Please feel free to shop around for the rate that best fits your budget. We recommend Sandal's Ochi as it is a short drive from Dunn's River.

What will be included in my stay?

All Sandals resorts are all-inclusive. Zach and Amy joke that once they book they can leave their credit card at home. All food, beverages, and a multitude of activities are included in your stay. Sandals also offers "Excursions" for an additional cost. Feel free to explore this Sandals website for what is included: https://www.sandals.com/all-inclusive/what-is-included/ And this link for "Excursions" that require an additional fee: https://oee.sandals.com/oeeIndex

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

If you are staying at another Sandals resort, there is a shuttle that will take you to the Dunn's River resort for all wedding-related events.
