The american tobacco campus is classic Durham. It contains a renovated tobacco factory that now is home to multiple shops, restaurants and park space.
Matt and I regularly frequent the Durham Farmers market. It is filled with fresh produce, live music, and local art. It is open every Saturday year round. During October it is open from 8 am - 12 pm on Saturdays.
The museum of life and science is a seriously fun museum and unique experience. Its great for kids and adults! Matt and I almost decided to have our wedding here.
Matt and I have thoroughly enjoyed doing crafts here! They have crafts that you can do ranging from wood burning to glass etching to needle point to painting. Its a really fun experience.
This is such a unique experience. It is a thrift store but only for crafty stuff. It is filled with fabric for sewing, yarn for knitting, and much much more at dirt cheap prices.
