Ray and Amy met on January 26, 2019 at Casa Margarita during a blizzard days before the polar vortex. They were set up by Ray's cousins Danielle and Nick Morenzoni. Even though the four of them were going on a double date, both Ray and Amy were incredibly nervous. Danielle tried to ease Amy's nerves and told her, "Even if you guys don't hit it off romantically, you will have a friend for life because that is just the kind of guy Ray is."

Luckily, they did hit it off. Ray and Amy stayed up all night texting that night and immediately planned their next date.

From that day forward, Amy and Ray were nearly inseparable. Even though Amy was in Northwest Indiana, and Ray was on the Northside of Chicago, they were hanging out multiple times a week. From Taco Tuesdays at the McMahon's, Friday night Bingo, & weekends in the Sayger household, they started to see that neither one of them was going anywhere anytime soon.

Ray and Amy's love story in beautiful, yet simple. They share so many of the same interests. They went to see a lot of concerts & comedy shows, they love spending long weekends in Tennessee, obsessed with their cats, and even took a pottery class!

They are truly best friends. It was such an easy decision for them to spend their life together, because it is the only thing that makes sense.

They are so excited for their wedding day and hope all their friends and family can make it to celebrate with them!
