Our story begins in the fall of 2019 with a first date to see the new "It" movie at the local movie theater in Wilkes-Barre.

Amy was a junior in college starting her Healthcare Administration program when she invited a dashing young-man named Dakota to come visit her at King's College.

Later that fall, we attended Dakota's college friend's wedding and we learned we quite enjoyed each other's company and decided we would stick together and see what the future might bring.

Fast-forward to a year of "long-distance" with many, many trips back-and-forth from Wilkes-Barre to Harrisburg, Harrisburg to Wilkes-Barre, Avis to Harrisburg, and etc (you get it, lots of travelling).

In 2020, Amy started her Physician Assistant program and Dakota became her biggest supporter and personal cheerleader to get her through those 2 tough years. Weekends were spent in Wilkes-Barre hotel rooms eating pizza and sushi and watching UFC fights or football games. The other weekends not in Wilkes-Barre were spent at Dakota's apartment in Harrisburg where he became Amy's patient and so lovingly endured hours of her practicing on him or listening to her lectures.

Just before starting Amy's last semester of PA school, we took a trip to Philly, NYC, and Nantucket. There we saw Christmas lights, explored the cities, and enjoyed our first real trip together. On December 20th, 2022, Dakota planned a trip to a lighthouse on a Nantucket beach and got down on one knee and popped the question (of course Amy said yes!).

Since then, we have moved into our first house together along with our two fur babies, Kylo and Miller, and Amy got her first job in Hershey. Now, after 3 years of "long-distance", we are all finally together.
