Ian and Caleb became friends when they were in high school together. The two have only gotten closer as years have passed. Ian, Caleb and Lucas make the perfect wedding team(or at least a very fun one!). These days Caleb is living in Roland with his other half Alissa and their dogs. Ian and Amy love to spend time with the couple whenever possible, and steal cuddles from their puppies. Amy is especially excited to have someone who is able to get her keys out of her locked car in the wedding party!

Lindsey and Amy met in intro biology at Iowa state. They ended up being in a study group together and the same major and had tons of classes together...the rest is history. Lindsey, Winter, and Amy are as epic and inseparable as the avengers (Lindsey is Captian America!). Which is why Linsey and Winter are co-maids of honor at Amy's wedding...even though many more miles separate the trio these days, Amy couldn't imagine having her wedding with anyone else by her side. Amy couldn't be more excited to share her day with Lindsey and her other half Colby!

Ian and Lucas grew up together, they have countless stories about everything from trail rides to troublemaking. These two have been best buds for years so it makes sense that Lucas would be Ian's best man. Between Ian, Lucas and Caleb you pretty much have the three best friends that anyone could have. These days Lucas is living in Ackley and Amy and Ian look forward to seeing him and going on adventures whenever they get back home. Ian is so excited to have Lucas as part of his big day!

Kara and Amy probably met when they were 6 in kindergarten, but back then Amy thought Kara was kinda bossy :) Years later they became best friends and remained so throughout high school. They even went to Iowa State together and survived a year of being roommates! Now they keep in contact despite busy work schedules with dinner and movie dates as often as possible!

Ian and Hunter knew each other throughout their school careers, but didn't become close until both were living in Iowa Falls after high school. Now both enjoy hanging out together and exchanging insults and car facts. Hunter is living back in Ackley these days which gives the couple one more reason to head home on the weekends!

Amy and Anna met on an epic European adventure they shared in high school. When they got home Amy went back to Iowa and Anna back to Wyoming, but they've maintained their friendship over six years and a thousand miles! Nowadays Anna is living in Cedar Falls going to UNI and Amy is super excited to have her soul sister nearby and able to be a part of wedding planning and festivities!

Ian and Gabe first met in middle, they became fast friends through their mutual disdain for country music. The two maintained a loving relationship through school and even after as they were roommates. These days Ian and Gabe don't see as much of each other as they'd like, but when they do it's like no time has passed. Ian is super excited to have at least one person at the wedding who shares his taste in music.

Ian and Colin are kindred spirits. That was made abundantly clear when they met in high school. Though Colin lives in Hampton which might as well be a thousand miles away, when the two do see each other it's like no time has passed. Ian may be marring Amy but Colin will always be his soulmate.

Amy and Joe met pretty much as soon as Joe was born (since Amy is older). Joe and Amy's mom's have been friends for years and Joe is like family. When Amy asked Joe to be in her bridal party she thought he'd laugh at her and say no. Instead he smiled and asked if he had to wear a dress (he doesn't! ). So pretty much he's the best ever!

Ian and Levi met as soon as Ian was born...or at least as soon as Ian was allowed to have his big brother visit him in the hospital. Ian and Levi have a large age difference between them, but Ian still speaks fondly of forced sporting events and other Fryslie family shenanigans as well as the scars they left. These days Levi is pretty much the perfect older brother and Ian couldn't hope for a better role model. Ian and Amy are both thrilled he agreed to be part of their day, as well as letting them borrow his children for the ceremony!

These two couldn't be cuter! Elise is Ian's niece and will be a flower girl if she decides not to cry every time she sees Ian:) Either way the couple is sure she'll look adorable in her flower girl dress, and Kes(Ian's cousin) will be there to save the day!

Alex is lucky enough to be married to Ian's awesome sister Kacey, so Ian was lucky enough to gain Alex as a brother-in-law. Alex hasn't been part of the family long, but Ian loves having someone to fish with and rope into outdoor adventures. Amy and Ian are both thrilled he agreed to dress up and seat people for the wedding! (If he did actually agree...that may have been Kacey!)

Hunter went to school with Ian and Amy he was in Amy's advisor group for some of high school and loved to make fun of how much she would read. Hunter became closer to Ian and Amy after high school, and now is pretty much family. Their day wouldn't be complete without him!

You may wonder at Kolton's title, but due the immense amount of love Ian holds for Kolton, he asked if he would be willing to wear a tutu and throw petals at the wedding. Amy thinks Kolton is better suited for entertaining little Elise, but you'll have to come to the wedding to see what really happens!

Jace and Bretton are Ian's nephews and Ian loves playing football, tag, hide-and-seek, and just about any other game you could imagine with these boys. Ian and Amy are both thrilled that they agreed to help out with ring security for the wedding!
