Our Wedding

Our story began in February 2021. They met on hinge. Amy messaged Corey and he took a couple weeks to reply. Little did Amy know he was ready to give up. He recently moved to Denver from Maine and he had been looking for his other half for a while. After failed attempts to find love, he almost deleted the app until he saw he had a message. They talked for a couple weeks; making jokes and building a connection. Finally he asked Amy out. Little did Corey know Amy was terrified. She recently got out of a terribly horrible (too long) relationship and NEVER dated before. She turned down every date she was asked on for months. Thanks to Amy’s cousin Anna and friends Mel and Dayvid they told her to JUST GO - she would never get over her fear until she faces it and sees what’s out there. February 19th 2021 they meet at The Pubb on Penn in downtown Denver. They both were nervous but they hit it off. They started hanging out and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer. One day in April after Corey invited Amy to his band practice (which she knew was very special to him) and after he sat her down and asked; “where is this going? I really like you and want something serious but if you don’t feel the same I don’t want to waste my time.” Amy was shocked, because she couldn’t believe this man was being so confident, direct, and upfront to say exactly what he wanted. So she said she didn’t know what to say but she was willing to see where things could go. Corey knew pretty early on that she was the one. Amy knew when she sent him a ghost hunt in Canyon City at the very first prison in Colorado and he said let’s go! She just assumed he would just say oh ya that’s cool but instead he was ready to go! On that trip they both knew they were meant for each other. That trip proved to Amy he was the one and they grew closer every day. And from that very day, their relationship blossomed into the most special, most meaningful, most beautiful love they could have ever asked for. Sharing their love of all things spooky, music, the outdoors, camping, antiquing, and just having a good old time. Their love is a love to be jealous of. They truly are soulmates. Every day they still are in shock that are this lucky to have found each other and especially Amy. She went on one date and that was it. They both went through hell to find each other which proves the best things in life come to those who wait. When you least expect it, the best things in life happen. June 25 2025 Corey took Amy to Peaks Island off the coast of South Portland Maine, a place he grew up going to. They went for a long walk through an old creepy battery steel and ended up at the beach. They were the only ones there. While they sat and watched the sun set Corey told Amy how much he loved her and how she was his girl for forever… and then asked her to marry him. In complete aw she obviously said YES! He picked the ring out on his own. Amethyst, symbolic for the month they met. They spent the rest of the night being completely smitten and couldn’t stop saying how much they love each other. The happiest day of both of their lives. They are beyond excited and grateful to be getting married and couldn’t be happier to share their special day with you!

Every year they would go to the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park for Amy’s favorite band Murder By Death - the band encouraged you to dress up like the picture at the end of the shinning.

I had to make her a huge part of this. Not only is she my mom she is my best friend. I could never imagine my life without her. If you know her you understand that she truly is the kindest most loving and generous person. You are lucky to know her.  She has been there for me through thick and thin to say the least. I couldn’t do any of this without her. She will be the one giving me away and then standing next to me on the most important day of my life. To my Mom… I love you to no end. Thanks for literally everything.

My Aunt. My favorite Aunt. She has the biggest heart. She is the most thoughtful, genuine, and caring woman on this planet. I couldn’t imagine my life without her. My sister. One of the most badass woman I have ever met. She truly is the best at everything she does. She is the mom to my two favorite humans and for that I will never be able to repay her. We have all gone through so much but Stephanie she is our rock. She is proof that no matter what you have gone through you can make it out better than ever. I believe we were meant to find each other even if it wasn’t the easiest way. Love you!

Girrrrlll how can I describe you without crying? My girl. My love. My monster. You have taught me what true love is and I didn’t know it existed until I met you. You inspire me to be a better person. I adore everything you do. I love that you love to hang out with me and the feeling is mutual. You may only be 11 right now but you are the coolest smartest bravest sweetest 11 year old there is! My love for you is so deep I love you to the moon and back and to the ends of the earth. I couldn’t imagine you anywhere else besides next to me on my special day! My Sammy - my cousin. This man was born special, meant for greatness. His whole life he’s always been over the top incredible, smart, and beyond kind. Watching him become the man he is and being so successful so young anyone would be jealous! I adore you Sam! When we were thinking about who should marry us only one name came up…We couldn’t imagine anyone else! When I imagine our special day I see Sam standing next to Corey and it just brings tears to my eyes. We are beyond honored that he will have the privilege of making us husband and wife. Chloe Rose, my very first best friend and still my best friend! I had to incorporate this little lady - you are so special to me and I am so glad we are still homies. I miss you everyday! I adore you and the family you have made, it brings me such joy to see you as a mom. I am beyond honored that you will be the one walking down the aisle before me to make it even more meaningful. The aisle is going to be covered in petals! Love you forever girl!

This place is amazing! Not only is it where the wedding will be but you can stay here! There’s lodge rooms and cabins! Look at their website for the different options. You can not book online you must call the number above. The cabins are so spacious and they each have individual rooms so you might have to settle in with others. They do require a 2 night stay. The sooner you book the better. They will release reservations to the public if they are not booked 2 months before the wedding. Please mention WEDDING10 to get 10% off. If you are struggling with booking for whatever reason PLEASE contact Amy and she will make it happen. If it fills up, there’s more lodging right down the road or close by in Buena Vista. Please also check Airb&b and VRBO, there should be some close by. Corey and Amy are making it into a vacation. They are staying September 20-24 join them if you would like! Anyone staying the night of the wedding will be provided breakfast in the morning! For out of town guests: the Colorado Springs airport has started doing more flights. It is closer to the venue than the Denver airport. If you want to take advantage of Colorado than fly into Denver and see all that you can see! WE CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE YOU!

There is lots to do in the area! Deer Valley Ranch does offer horse back riding for an extra fee. The Colorado trail is also on the property, go for a nice walk or hike. St. Elmo’s Ghost town is about 25 mins away. A very amazing old ghost town where you can explore and feed chipmunks! https://stelmoghosttown.com Mount Princeton hot springs is right down the road. One of the best hot springs in Colorado. https://mtprinceton.com Countless white water rafting in Buena Vista Salida and Buena Vista have “Colorado surf spots”. They mimic real waves in the river! Salida also has some tubing spots. Salida and Buena Vista are great small Colorado towns. Great bars, restaurants, local shops and great trails along the river. Coming up highway 285 there’s lots of random Colorado things like a Bigfoot museum, ropes course/zip-line, a winery, several breweries, even historic South Park town!
