In January 2022, the fate makers at Bumble put our profiles on each other’s screens and we swiped right. After weeks of messages back and forth, we met late in February 2022 at 9 Mile Brewing in Bloomington. We hit it off right away and it didn’t take us long to realize we had found our true love.

After spending many months doing a variety of fun things (concerts, hockey games, breweries/wineries, trivia, etc)…..finally the best event came. On 12/31/22, Joe surprised Amy with a NYE trip to Alexandria. We stayed at an air BnB that was made from old silos and went to Amy’s favorite winery (Carlos Creek). While there, Joe gave her a scrapbook of dating memories and their friends Adam & Melissa snuck in while Amy was distracted. While Amy was looking at the scrapbook, Joe got down on one knee and popped the question! Luckily our friends caught every moment on film and of course Amy said “YES!!

Time has continued with even more fun activities, including buying a house in Apple Valley and planning our destination wedding on the beach in Punta Cana on 1/16/24 and then a fun reception in MN on 6/8/24.
